Celebration Assemblies -9.00am Family members are warmly invited to attend our Celebration Assemblies each month. Miss Kirkman will be leading these assemblies on the following dates:
Friday 13th January Friday 10th February SATS Club - 4th January Onwards On Wednesday 4th January, Miss Miller began running our Year 6 SATS Breakfast Club from 8.15 - 8.45am This club will run from the 4th of January right through to SATS week in May.
Sports Cool Lunchtime Club—9th January Onwards We are delighted to be able to continue with our lunchtime sports club each Week. The club will begin on Monday the 9th of January and will run or the full term. Sports Cool will also continue with their After School Club sessions this term
Cancelation of Merlins After School Club - Tuesday 10th January As previously communicated, due to statutory staff training, there will be no Merlin’s After School Club provision the evening of Tuesday 10th January. .
Dates for the diary - Spring 1 2023 cont. Statutory Assessment Evening for Parents - Wednesday 11th January We would like to invite you to a meeting about the end of KS1 and KS2 Assessments (SATS), Year 4 multiplication check and Pupil Well Being on Wednesday 11th January 2023. This will take place in Kettlesing Village Hall starting at 6pm. The main purpose of this evening is to provide you with information on the 2023 Key Stage 1 and 2 Statutory tests and teacher assessment requirements for the end of KS1 and 2 along with information about the Year 4 multiplication check. Whilst all parents are encouraged to attend, it will be especially beneficial for those parents with children in years 2, 4 and 6.
Friends PTA Meeting-Thursday 12th January Friends Will be holding their PTA meeting on Thursday the 12th of January at 7.30pm in The Queens Head. They will be discussing upcoming events and would love you to join them so that you are able to see what they have planned and also, to get some new ideas for events. All the money raised by our incredible Friends committee benefits each and every child in school, so any supported that you are able to give would be greatly appreciated.
Childnet Parents Zoom (Safer Internet) -30th January On the 30th January Childnet will be hosting a safer internet zoom for all parents at 6pm. The link will be sent out via email closer to the time. NSPCC Number Day - Friday 3rd February NSPCC Number Day is a maths-inspired fundraising event where schools across the UK raise money for the NSPCC. On this day, children take part in a number of maths activities and are encouraged to make a suggested donation of £1, and wear an item of clothing with a number on it/number themed costume.
Safer Internet Day - Wednesday 8th February The school day will focus on how children can keep themselves safe online

First day of Spring term - Monday 20th February 2023 Parent Consultation Evenings Parents consultation evenings will take place on the following dates: Tuesday 21st Feb 3.30 - 5.00pm Thursday 23rd Feb 4.00 - 6.00pm Booking will be via ParentMail and a notification email/text will alert parents when it goes live.
